'No Fee' Balance Transfers
The recent trend of credit cards charging a 'handling fee' for balance transfers has made some transfer deals much less attractive.
Although most cards have a maximum balance transfer fee of around £50, some have no upper limit which can work out very expensive if you're transferring a large balance.
Worse, it's not always made clear outside of the small print whether a fee will be charged or not, or how much it will be.
Until recently, it was still possible to find at least the occasional card which no longer featured one of these fees, usually in the guise of a 'low rate for life' deal rather than a 0% one, but alas this seems to be no longer the case - the balance transfer fee now rules.
However, we've managed to turn up the following few cards which offer balance transfers without a fee. Hopefully the situation will improve in the future and more such cards will be available.

| Co-operative Bank Fixed Rate Visa | 9.9% | fixed for five years | 9.9% | ||
