MBNA Platinum Rewards Credit Card
The new MBNA Platinum Rewards card features a great points program that rewards your credit card spending. Once you've built up a stash of points you can convert them into shopping vouchers which give you discounts on the high street, exclusive wine deals, holidays or flights, or even plain old cash to spend on whatver you choose.
The card also features a 0% balance transfer deal for 13 months, although the dreaded balance transfer fee applies, along with 0% on purchases for intropurchperiod
The standard rate is 16.9% typical APR, which is just about the going rate these days for a general card, and there's no annual fee (why should there ever be?).

MBNA Acceptance Criteria
In order for your MBNA card application to be approved, you must meet the following critera:
- You are currently employed
- You are over 23 years of age
- You are a homeowner
- You have an income of over £20,000
- You do not have any recent credit defaults (CCJ's, current arrears or missed payments) on credit cards / loans / mortgages
- You are a resident in the UK and can prove residential addresses for the past two years
