The BT Card
New from British Telecom is the BT Credit Card which features an innovative rewards program where you can reduce the costs of your phone bill.
In a similar way to other rewards scheme, whenever you spend using the card you build up 'points' which go towards reducing you bill. The difference with the BT card is that you don't have to redeem these points, their credited to your account there and then, reducing your phone bill immediately.
A monthly spend of £500 would see £11.25 knocked off your quarterly bill, and multiple cardholders at the same address can have their discounts applied to the same bill for even greater savings.
The total discount in any one year, however, is capped at £75.
The card has a standard rate of 16.9% typical APR, plus an introductory balance transfer deal of 0% for 12 months (fee applies) and 0% on purchases for 3 months.
