Barclaycard Gold Credit Card
The Barclaycard Gold is the Rolls Royce of credit cards. In order to be eligible for the Gold card you need to be earning over £17,500 per annum and be over the age of 21. The card comes with lots of great features including Barclaycard's reward scheme - Barclaycard Freedom. Freedom allows you to earn reward points for every purchase you make, which are then redeemable at selected stores.
There's also a balance transfer offer of 0% until March 2012 (a 2.5% fee applies) and a standard rate of 19.9% representative APR (variable).
The Gold card also comes with Barclaycards state-of-the-art contactless payment technology which allows you to pay for items under £15 just by waving your card over a reader - ideal if you're in a rush. There are a number of stores that accept contactless payment including Pret-A-Manager and Yo Sushi to name but a few.
The Barclaycard Gold also comes with 'Purchase Delivery Protection' which protects you against loss or damage to goods that have been ordered online or over the phone in the UK.
