The American Express Red card is a new card from Amex which helps fight the HIV / AIDS emergency in Africa.
Every quarter, a minimum of 1% of everything you've spent up to £5k is transferred, at no cost to you, to the Global Fund who are the world's leading funder of programs to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
The Amex Red isn't just a charity card though, as it features a pretty decent rate of 16.9% typical APR, and holders of the Red card get access to a handpicked range of 'REDdeals' including gigs, sporting events, late shopping nights and much more.
