The AA Visa Credit Card

The AA VISA credit card is aimed fairly and squarely at motorists, offering as it does an introductory offer of 0% on motoring and fuel purchases for 12 months, and a rewards scheme that offers double points on motoring and fuel purchases, although all purchases count towards the rewards program.

AA Members will accrue points even faster, which can be redeemed against purchases of a range of motoring products and services, AA insurance policies, or even a day or night out.

Also of interest is the introductory balance transfer offer of 0% for 12 months, a feature which has become harder to find in recent months, although as is usually the case there's a balance transfer fee of 3% to pay. The standard rate is a decent 16.9% typical APR (variable), which while not earth shatteringly low is a respectable rate these days.

Although primarily of interest to those with high motoring costs, where the rewards program will really come into its own, this balance transfer deal and decent APR means that this card could be of interest to a more general audience too.
